These articles focus on results that have reduced deaths and injuries as a result of litigation.  In civil justice courts, this is done by forcing at-fault parties to compensate their victims through monetary awards and related court orders.  The civil justice system, unlike the criminal justice process, does not attempt to determine the innocence or guilt of an offender, nor send an offender to jail. Instead, our civil courts convene to determine whether an offender is civilly liable for the injuries sustained as a result of negligence or other wrongful conduct. Often this involves a personal injury, so we classify our firm as a “personal injury law firm”, as you can see from our list of practice focus areas (on sidebar to the right).
