WASHINGTON STATE HAS THE MOST UNINSURED DRIVERS IN THE WEST
The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday December 2, 2013 that Washington had the MOST uninsured drivers in the west and one of the highest levels in the United States. To double check, I went to the Washington Insurance Commissioner’s web site and blog to find that the Wall Street Journal was correct. Our Insurance Commissioner confirms that one driver in six drives without insurance in this State. That means that the next time you look to reduce your insurance premiums don’t cancel or reduce your Uninsured Motorist Protection endorsement-it is your protection against those people who drive negligently and hit you and/or your loved ones. The risk is just too great. Your Uninsured Motorist Protection endorsement means that your insurance company will step into the shoes of that uninsured driver and provide you with the benefits that you have coming when you are hit and injured by that one in six drivers on the road.
