SCOTT EDWARDS JOINS SCHAUERMANN THAYER JACOBS STAPLES & EDWARDS PS

Schauermann Thayer Jacobs Staples & Edwards PS, is proud to announce that attorney Scott W. Edwards has joined our law firm. Scott brings a unique set of skills and information to our office, having worked for nearly four years representing insurance companies and their clients at the insurance defense firm of Smith, Freed and Eberhard in Portland and later as in-house counsel at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. In his prior employment he worked closely with insurance adjusters developing, evaluating, and defending claims brought by injured persons. He is excited to be able to now represent people instead of corporations, and we believe that his having worked on the other side and having gained a first-hand perspective of how insurers make decisions and what makes them tick will be of great value to our clients and our firm.

As with all of our attorneys, Scott Edwards will limit his work to plaintiffs’ injuries caused by others, wrongful death, and insurance claims.
